Area football: Pine River-Backus runs past Fosston

PINE RIVER — Drey Loge ran for two scores, Beau Howard threw for two scores and ran for another as Pine River-Backus ran past Fosston 39-0 in a non-conference opener on Friday.

Loge opened the scoring in the first quarter with an eight-yard burst. He also scored on a 14-yard dash in the second quarter.
