AREA BOYS SOCCER: Flyers pound Princeton

BELLE PRAIRIE — The Little Falls Flyers picked up their first win of the season, tallying 10 unanswered goals in the first half, including three by Tim Infinger, and went on to defeat Princeton 12-1 in their Granite Ridge Conference opener Tuesday.

Also registering a hat trick for the Flyers was Connor Jorgensen.

The remaining six goals were scored by Nathan Masog, Greg Ross, Thomas Bell, Jake Loukinen, Peter Beam and Taylor Kottschade.

Offensively, the Flyers connected on 12 of 17 shots (71 percent) while goalkeeper Gabe Ploff turned away three of four Princeton shots.
