AREA GIRLS TENNIS: Patriots defeat Rangers


PEQUOT LAKES — Pequot Lakes’ No. 2 doubles team of Lauren Bengtson-Ellie Erholtz remained unbeaten after winning their ninth match of the season in the Patriots’ 5-2 win over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers in Tuesday’s Mid-State Conference meet.


The Patriots’ No. 3 doubles team of Erika Monson and Sydney Holt have combined for a record of 9-1.

Abby Gindorff (No. 3 singles) and Shannon Lundgren and Meredith Silgen (No. 1 doubles) posted the only wins for C-I.
