PINE RIVER — Drey Loge ran for two touchdowns, and returned a punt and kickoff for touchdown in a 47-17 win for Pine River-Backus over Cass Lake-Bena in Friday’s North Star Conference game.


Brandon Mager opened the scoring for the Tigers in the first quarter with a 63 yard punt return, and was followed by Loge’s first score on an 11 yard scamper.

Mager scored his second touchdown in the second quarter on a 61-yard scoring pass from Beau Howard. Loge returned a punt for a 56-yard score, and Mager caught another pass for touchdown to close out the half.

Loge tacked on an 80-yard kick return for touchdown and an eight yard burst in the third quarter to close out the scoring for Pine River-Backus

Mager finished with four catches for 156 yards.
