COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Three Raiders division players of week

Central Lakes College football players Anthony Shelman, Jordan Bialke and Paul Lake were named MCAC Southern Division Players of the Week ending Sept. 15.

Shelman was the offensive player of the week. The freshman wide receiver from Indianapolis caught five passes for 161 yards and three TDs in the Raiders’ 31-23 win over Rochester. He also had 23 return yards.

Bialke was the defensive player of the week. The sophomore from Foley made 12 tackles and intercepted two passes against Rochester, returning one interception 56 yards.

Lake was the special teams player of the week. The sophomore from Lake Havasu City, AZ, accumulated 107 yards with 58 return yards and a 49-yard pass off of a fake punt attempt against Rochester. He also averaged 38.3 yards per punt.
