Brainerd opened its season at Great River Bowl in Sartell by defeating St. Cloud Apollo 4-1 and St. Cloud Cathedral 4-1.

Cam Larson and Brady Bartishofski led the Warriors against Apollo with 100-percent fills. Hunter Cunningham and Robert Stange had 83.7- and 80-percent fills respectively.

Against Cathedral, Stange and Nate Dally led Brainerd with 100- and 89.7-percent fills. Larson, Austin Woods, and Drake Larson all had 83.7-percent fills

Brainerd travels to Southway Bowl in St. Cloud next Saturday to face St. Cloud Tech and Sauk Rapids.
