BOYS SOCCER: Unbeaten Bemidji shuts out Warriors

BAXTER — Brandon Hedlund saved eight shots for the Brainerd Warriors as they were defeated 2-0 by Bemidji in a non-conference game Saturday at Southdale Field.

Bemidji raised its record to 9-0-1 with the win.

“It was a sluggish start from us,” Warriors coach Tony Smith said. “Bemidji came to play. They were a talented squad, full of seniors, and they came with their act together. We looked like we were dragging our feet and we never could put enough pressure on their goal to score.”
