Warriors Volleyball: Sabres outlast Warriors

SARTELL — Heather Fletcher and Courtney Ryan each notched 14 kills and Jenna Degan added four ace serves as the Brainerd Warriors fell to Sartell 3-2 in the Central Lakes Conference match Tuesday.

“We were down 29-24 in the third set, but came back to win 33-31,” said Warriors head coach Jared Diem. “It was a good battle tonight. We lost Tedi Ramberg for the season with a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), so we had a new lineup. They did great, but we have some things to work on, and we’ll be fired up on Thursday against Fergus Falls.”
