Inside the Warriors to meet Thursday at Bonanza

The weekly Inside the Warriors luncheon, hosted by the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club, is scheduled Thursday at Bonanza.

Lunch is from noon to 1 p.m. with the program beginning about 12:20 p.m. Join the group for lunch ($10) and the program or just the program.

This week’s program will be coach Jared Diem and the Warrior volleyball team.

Warrior Athlete of the Week is Emily Beltran.

Luncheons are open to anyone. Attendees do not have to be a boosters member.

Upcoming events

• Fifth annual Brainerd Sports Boosters Homecoming Celebration. The event will begin at Prairie Bay at 6 p.m. following the Warrior football game Oct. 6. Join the group for food, prizes and fun. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Get tickets from Brainerd Sports Boosters Board members or email graumannl@stifel.com. • Madden’s homecoming special: Golf at Madden’s Pine Beach East or Pine Beach West course Oct. 5, 6 or 7 for $34 per golfer. For every golfer that takes advantage of this rate, Madden’s will donate $10 per golfer to the boosters.

• Madden’s driving range special: Use Madden’s driving range Oct. 5, 6 or 7, buy a $10 bucket of balls for the range and Madden’s will donate $5 to the boosters.

• Brainerd Homecoming 5-kilometer Fun Run/Walk: The second annual event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6 and will be a fundraiser for the Warriors Nordic Ski Team. Funds raised from this event will help pay for buses, fee reductions for skiers and for equipment the district is unable to provide.
