Area Football: Card scores three times in Verndale loss

VERNDALE — Dillon Card scored three touchdowns and rushed for 78 yards, but a 14-point second quarter was Verndale’s undoing as they lost to Prairie Valley 27-22 in Pheasant Conference action Thursday.

Card scored on a 1-yard plunge sin the first and third quarters. He finished off his evening with a 14-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
