Area Football: Hornets sting sixth-ranked PR-B Tigers


FRAZEE — Class 1A’s sixth-ranked Pine River-Backus Tigers found the Frazee Hornets more than they could handle, losing for the first time this season 47-6.

Beau Howard tallied the only score of the night for the Tigers on a four-yard run in the first period.

Five turnovers and a 401-126 yard disadvantage in total offensive yards sealed the fate of the Tigers.
