C-I fall short to Eveleth-Gilbert

CROSBY — Jacob Leonhardt threw for two touchdowns as Crosby-Ironton’s fourth quarter rally fell short in a 20-12 loss to Great Polar Alliance opponent Eveleth-Gilbert Friday.

Brady Tesdahl and Daniel Hudrlik each caught touchdowns for Crosby-Ironton in the loss.

The Rangers were ranked ninth in class 2A and led the Great Polar Alliance heading into the game.
