AITKIN — Claire Browning and the doubles team of Lindy Lehman-Sharbonda-Lisa Anderson each picked up wins in their respective No. 1 matches as Aitkin swept Cloquet 7-0 in non conference play Tuesday.

The Gobblers finished the regular season 5-11 and will travel Monday to Virginia for the first round of the section playoffs.

LONG PRAIRIE — The Staples-Motley Cardinals geared up for section play next week by shutting out Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 7-0 Tuesday winning all seven matches in straight sets.

It was the fourth straight dual meet shutout for the Cards, who finish the regular season 7-2.
