Area Female Athlete: S-M's Beachy looking for bigger and better

Jaelin Beachy is already swimming state qualifying times.

That doesn’t matter.

Beachy, a junior at Staples-Motley, has already been to the state meet twice.

That doesn’t matter.

She finished sixth in last year’s 100-yard breaststroke at the Class 1A state meet.

Again, who cares?

Beachy owns school, pool and meet records at most venues she visits.

To her that means nothing. And here is why.
