Area Volleyball: Wadena-Deer Creek blanks C-I

CROSBY — Caitlin Volkmann recorded 14 kills and 14 digs to lead the Class 2A ninth-ranked Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in a 3-0 victory over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers in Monday’s Mid-State Conference match.

Halley Mass and Emily Miron each notched 10 kills and Heather Thiesen offered 32 set assists for the Wolverines, who are undefeated in conference play.
