JV FOOTBALL: Severson leads Warrior JV over Pequot

Mason Severson led the ground game with two touchdowns and rushed for more than 100 yards for the Brainerd Warriors JV team as they defeated Pequot Lakes 38-16 in their final game of the season Monday. Brainerd finished the season with a 3-1 record.

Evan Brecht, Matt Ramerth and Matt Sucik scored the Warriors other touchdowns.

The Warriors were led on defense with two interceptions by Austin Gapinski and an interception each by Zach Bjerkness and Nick Schwen.

Gapinski and Jordan Jarmuzek were the lead tacklers for the defense.

Geoff Sheflo led the Warriors receivers, catching four passes and Anthony Cory added three sacks and a forced fumble.

The offensive line of James Weiss, Zach Thomas, Jon Bostrom, Wyll Erickson and Kyler Kennedy led the way for the majority of the game.
