Area Volleyball: Gobblers move streak to nine straight


ONAMIA — Melissa Paulson, Mikayla Michaletz and Janae Herron combined for 35 kills and 14 blocks to lead the Aitkin Gobblers past the Great River Conference leading Onamia Panthers 3-1 Tuesday.

Bailey Nordean contributed 20 digs and Kassie Kokesh tipped 19 set assists for Aitkin, which has now won nine straight matches.

Onamia had won seven straight matches and entered the contest tied for first with Braham.
