JUNIOR HOCKEY: Aces rally to defeat North Stars

LITTLE FALLS — Spencer Bajko and Evan Anderson scored first-period goals for Breezy Point but the North Stars were unable to make it stand up as they lost 4-2 to the Minnesota Flying Aces in a North American3 Hockey League game Thursday night.

Breezy Point’s Timothy Taylor and Kyle Whipple were credited with assists. Stars goalie made 28 saves. Breezy Point was outshot 32-18.

Jared Sprink tallied twice for the Aces and Alex Yde and Patrick Kegley each scored once. Goalie Rocco Yapello stopped 16 shots.

Breezy Point (2-11-0) plays at the Twin City Steel at 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
