COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Central Lakes wins state championship


ST. CLOUD — Andrew Johnson passed for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Central Lakes College Raiders defeated the Rochester Yellowjackets 33-23 for the Minnesota College Athletic Conference championship Sunday at St. Cloud State University.

Anthony Shelman returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score for CLC, which intercepted six passes.

It was CLC’s second state championship in four years.
