Area Boys Hockey: Flyers skate to 6-1 win

VIRGINIA — Mike Stumpf turned aside 26 of 27 shots as the Little Falls Flyers defeated Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl 6-1 in a non-conference game Friday.

Six different players tallied goals for the Flyers, who converted on three of five power-play opportunities. Thomas Miller added a short-handed goal in the second period.
