SNOWMOBILE RACING: Area drivers compete at Quadna

Brainerd lakes area drivers competed in Rounds 1 and 2 of the ISOC Minnesota Regional Snocross series last weekend at Hill City’s Quadna Mountain.

Cody Thomsen of Nisswa won in Pro Open on Saturday on his Arctic Cat.

Sunday’s Pro Open final had Lakeshore’s Matt Piche finishing third. Piche also picked up a third in Saturday Pro Lite action on an Arctic Cat.

Browerville’s Ryan Trout picked up a pair of second-place finishes in the Sport class on his Arctic Cat and was No. 1 both days in the Junior 14-15 class.

Tyler Daudt of Longville was second both days in the Amateur 16-29 class on his Polaris.

The next ISOC event is a national with Rounds 3 and 4 Friday and Saturday at Bessemer, Mich.
