Area Gymnastics: LeBlanc wins beam, Flyers lose

MELROSE — Rachelle LeBlanc won the balance beam and placed second in the all-around for the Little Falls Flyers in a season-opening loss to Melrose.

The Dutchmen scored a 141.725 to the Flyers 122.400, and were led by Jailyn Brinkman who won three events plus the all-around.

LeBlanc scored a 9.25 on beam and finished with a 36.25 in the all-around. Amanda Hanson placed fourth in the overall with a 30.15 for the Flyers.
