WRESTLING: Warriors pin Alexandria in first dual meet

ALEXANDRIA — Five Brainerd Warriors notched pins in a 45-30 Central Lakes Conference win over the Alexandria Cardinals in their first dual meet of season Thursday.

Dan Babineau, Tommy Schlosser, Jeff Flickinger, Jace Engelmann and Levi Rubin each pinned their opponent to propel the Warriors.

“It’s good to get a conference win,” said Warriors co-head coach Jim Kath. “We came out on top tonight but we’ve got to continue to improve.”
