Area Girls Hockey: Maas scores twice in Blue Devil win

LONG PRAIRIE — Halley Maas opened the scoring for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek and she also ended it as the Blue Devils gained a 7-1 victory over Morris-Benson in a non-conference game Tuesday.

Maas scored at 11:29 of the first period to tie the game at one. She scored at the 3:24 mark of the third period and finished with one assist.

Angela Hanson faced 13 shots and turned away 12 of them. The Blue Devils peppered the Storm goal with 33 shots.
