Girls Hockey: Ring's goal not enough for Flying Warriors

ST. CLOUD — Karli Ring gave Brainerd/Little Falls an early lead, but it was all the scoring the Flying Warriors could muster in a 2-1 loss to the St. Cloud Icebreakers in a Central Lakes Conference game Tuesday.

Maddie Ellingson and Kristina Anderson assisted on Ring’s first period goal.

Sara Wennerstrand made 15 saves in her varsity debut in net for the Flying Warriors, who outshot St. Cloud 25-17, including a 17-6 advantage in the final two periods.
