ALPINE SKIING: Brainerd's Stone wins at Wild Mountain

TAYLORS FALLS — Brainerd’s Savannah Stone was the girls individual winner at the Wild Mountain Invitational and led the Warrior girls to a third-place finish in the 21-team event Friday.

“This was by far, the biggest win of her career,” said Brainerd coach Jim Ruttger of Stone’s victory. “There were several elite teams at this meet.”

Gabriel Gibson finished in 50th place with a time of 1:17.74 as the Warrior boys came in 14th with a score of 266.
