Area Girls Hockey: Palm goal lifts Lightning

BREEZY POINT — Alex Palm scored the game-winning goal and added two assists to help the Northern Lakes Lightning secure their fourth consecutive win as they defeated the Detroit Lakes Lakers 4-3 Thursday.

Mariah Reed, Kim Jessen and Megan Snyder scored the other goals for the Lightning.

Kaylyn Eggena, Morgan Demars and Hannah Zimmerman each notched an assist and goalie Kat Jensen saved 21 shots for the 8-6 Lightning.
