Gymnastics: Cierney wins three events to lead Brainerd

FERGUS FALLS — Mikayla Cerney won the balance beam, floor exercise and tied for first on vault to win the all-around and lead the Brainerd Warriors to a 128.2-120.3 Central Lakes Conference victory over Fergus Falls Thursday.

Lonie Anderson won the bars with an 8.15 for Brainerd while Sydney Wold and Cerney both scored 8.45s to win the vault.

Cerney scored an 8.2 on beam and an 8.7 on floor for an all-around score of 33.3. Brainerd’s Rachel Hoffman placed second on the all-around.
