BOYS HOCKEY: Rivard lifts Warriors to 4-2 victory

SARTELL — Logan Rivard netted a pair of third-period goals to boost the Brainerd Warriors to their fifth straight win, 4-2 over the Sartell Sabres in Tuesday’s Central Lakes Conference game.

Also scoring goals for the Warriors were Griffin Campbell and Jacob Ellingson.

Ellingson and Chris Pohlkamp each collected two assists.

Jared Rubado made six saves in net for the Warriors, who held a commanding 29-8 shots on goal advantage.

The Warriors have won four straight games.
