WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Raiders snap losing streak

HIBBING — Lindsay Monson scored a team-high 21 points as the Central Lakes College Raiders snapped a 6-game losing streak with an 82-60 thrashing of the Hibbing Cardinals in a Northern Division game Saturday.

Sierra Benning and Jaylynn Lamb each added 15 points for the Raiders, who evened their division record at 1-1 and secured their second win in 13 games this season.

“I know we’re 2-11 right now but we’re 1-1 in the conference, and that’s the main, important thing to keep our focus on,” CLC coach Dennis Eastman said. “We’ve just got to take this experience of winning and turn it into another win Wednesday.”
