AREA GIRLS BASKETBALL: PR-B has Clearbrook-Gonvick first loss


PINE RIVER — Brittany Kelley tallied 11 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Pine River-Backus past previously undefeated Clearbrook-Gonvick by a score of 53-37 in Monday’s Northwoods Conference game.

The win pushed the Tigers streak to six as they sit atop the conference with a 6-0 record.

Megan Felthous added 14 points for the Tigers while Tatum Sheley scored 11 points. Autumn Ackerman notched nine points and led the team in rebounds with seven.
