At least one killed, more than 100 injured in New Jersey train crash

GIRLS HOCKEY: Flying Warriors shut out by Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA — Goalies Sara Wennerstrand and Natalie Berens combined for 22 saves as the Brainerd-Little Falls Flying Warriors were shut out by Alexandria 8-0 in Tuesday’s Central Lakes Conference game.

The loss was the Flying Warriors’ 10th straight. B/LF’s only win of the season was 3-1 Dec. 6 against Alexandria in Brainerd

Taylor Ellingson scored two goals for Alexandria while Becca Illies added a goal and assist.

Conference: BLF 1-7-0. Overall: BLF 1-17-1. Next: Brainerd/Little Falls vs. River Lakes at Richmond 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
