Girls Basketball: Warriors downed by Sabres
Brainerd MN 506 James St. / PO Box 974 56401

Jenna Degen scored 15 points to lead Brainerd in a 57-41 loss to Sartell in Friday’s Central Lakes Conference game at Brainerd High School.

Maria West added 11 points for the Warriors.

“Defensively we played well and we took care of the ball,” said Warriors head coach Brian McAllister. “We had some critical turnovers though, and we have to put the ball in the basket and make free throws to win these games.”

The loss extended Brainerd’s losing streak to six games.
