Area Boys Basketball: Baker, Rangers bash Duluth Marshall

CROSBY — Caleb Baker scored 16 points to become the ninth Crosby-Ironton Rangers boy to reach 1,000 career points in Saturday’s 85-39 non-conference victory over Duluth Marshall.

Baker joins Bryce Tesdahl, Reid Kuschel, Mark Hoge, Tyler Scull, Mike Nagorski, Gerry Richardson, Greg Selisker and Trevor Dickie on C-I’s scoring list.

Will Goodwin led the Rangers (10-4) with 21 points as he sank five 3-pointers. Riley Jacobs added 10 points for C-I, which saw 10 different players score.
