Women's College Basketball: Kraemer starting at Morris

Brainerd High School graduate Kayla Kraemer is a starting guard for the University of Minnesota-Morris Cougars.

The freshman is averaging 7.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists through 15 games. She’s shooting 33 percent from the field, 30 percent from 3-point and 86 percent at the free throw line.

She tallied six points and a rebound in 25 minutes during the Cougars’ 61-57 victory over Trinity Bible College Tuesday.
