STAPLES — Nine players scored for the Staples-Motley Cardinals as they defeated the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 55-33 Friday to remain unbeaten in the Mid-State Conference. Kelly Pearson scored a game-high 17 points for the Cardinals, who beat W-DC 67-48 on Dec. 4. Emily Miron added 13 points for W-DC.

CROSBY — Meredith Silgen scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Crosby-Ironton Rangers to a 69-51 Mid-State Conference win over the Park Rapids Panthers Friday. Shannon Lundgren added 15 points and Chelsey Bonsante contributed 12 for the Rangers, who evened their record at 3-3 in the conference, 8-8 overall.
