Girls Basketball: Cardinals sweep Warriors

Taylor Johnshoy and Amy Southard each tallied six points as the Brainerd Warriors fell to the Alexandria Cardinals 60-28 in Tuesday’s Central Lakes Conference game at Brainerd High School

Maria West and Abby Clanton each added five points as Brainerd failed to avenge a 63-27 loss to the Cardinals on Dec. 18.

“We played great defense by holding them to only 17 points in the first half, but we just couldn’t make shots,” Warriors head coach Brian McAllister said.
