Adapted Floor Hockey: Double hat trick for Annable

Double hat trick

for Annable

Devin Annable scored a double hat trick and added an assist for the Brainerd Warriors as they shut out Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville 10-1 Wednesday night at Riverside Elementary.

“{Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville} beat us in over-time last year,” said Warriors head coach Todd Person. “They had a goalie that stopped fifty shots in the game that we played against them and he was really athletic and they’re missing him back since he was a senior who graduated and that made a big difference.”

Brock Saatzer scored two goals and four assists and Zachary Denny scored his first goal of the season and notched two assists for Brainerd.

Cody Vleck added three assists and Randy Volkmuth added one for the 2-1 Warriors.

Said Person, “A lot of kids got playing time tonight. it was great.”
