Inside the Warriors to meet Thursday at Bonanza

■ Former Flyers receive fall academic honors

Three former Little Falls Flyers, who attend the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, earned fall semester academic all-conference awards from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.

Austin Gessell competed in men’s cross country, Maggie Moe in women’s cross country and Jess Hanowski in volleyball.

Student-athletes must earn a 3.5 or better grade-point average in their respective semester of competition to be eligible for the award.

■ Inside the Warriors to

meet Thursday at Bonanza

The weekly Inside the Warriors luncheon, hosted by the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club, is scheduled Thursday at Bonanza.

Lunch is from noon to 1 p.m. with the program beginning about 12:20 p.m. Join the group for lunch ($10) and the program or just the program.

This week’s program will be coach John Zemke and boys swimming and diving team.

The Warrior Athlete of the Week is wrestler Luke Boran.

Luncheons are open to anyone. Attendees do not have to be a boosters member.
