CLEARBROOK — Megan Felthous went 7-of-8 from the field and finished with 21 points as the Pine River-Backus Tigers stayed perfect in Northwoods Conference play with a 66-45 win over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears Friday night.

Tatum Sheley contributed 16 points and eight assists and Autumn Ackerman added 10 points.

The Tigers are 10-0 in the conference, 14-3 overall and are the only team to have defeated the 16-2 Bears including a 53-37 win Jan. 14.

EDEN VALLEY — Briget Bednar tallied 13 points and eight rebounds and Megan Boser added 11 points in the Pierz Pioneers 60-42 loss to the Central Minnesota Conference leading Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles Friday.

Mickey Rocheleau grabbed nine rebounds for the Pioneers, who have lost four of their last five games.
