Area Girls Basketball: Rangers roll past Gobblers


CROSBY — Chelsey Bonsante’s 24 points helped the Crosby-Ironton Rangers to a 71-51 non-conference victory over the Aitkin Gobblers Saturday.

Meredith Silgin added 21 points, seven rebounds, four steals, three assist and three blocks and Shannon Lundgren followed with 11 points and nine rebounds for the 9-10 Rangers.

Baily Nordean scored a team-high 21 points, Melissa Paulson scored 13 points and Cassie Sandberg added 10 for the Gobblers, who have dropped two straight.
