Maplewood’s Zach Nelson was a second behind Dirks for third place and Ryan Rogers of Bemidji was a second behind Nelson.

The women’s 16K skate went to Elk River’s Emily Flynn in 52:07. Jenna Ruzich of Baxter placed second in 53.31.
