BOWLING: Warrior girls win two of three at Wadena

The Brainerd Warrior girls team won two of three matches at Wadena Lanes Sunday. 

In the first round, Brainerd beat Wadena 3 games to 2 with Hannah Larson having an 89-percent completion rate and Kelsy Warta at 75 percent.

In the second round, Brainerd lost 4-1 to St. Cloud Northeast. Warta had a 75-percent completion rate followed by Breanna Fields at 71 percent.

Brainerd beat Fergus Falls 4-1 in round three with Caitlin Brooks and Malyk Edwards having 100-percent completion rates. Caitlin had one strike and nine spares. Malyk followed with two strikes and two spares.

Brainerd (3-3) will bowl at Northern Aire Lanes in Fergus Falls Feb. 10.
