AREA GIRLS BASKETBALL: Sheley scores 35, PR-B wins conference title

NORTHOME — Tatum Sheley scored 35 points, and collected eight steals, seven assists and six rebounds as the Pine River-Backus Tigers wrapped up the Northwoods Conference championship Saturday with an 84-48 win over the Kelliher-Northome Mustangs.

Brittany Kelley contributed 24 points and Megan Felthous 15 for the Tigers, who outscored the Mustangs 50-23 in the second half.
