Minn. legislators expected to finish final part of $46B budget; tax cuts, bonding bill included

BOWLING: Warrior girls win two of three matches

The Brainerd Warrior girls bowling team won two of three matches at Fergus Falls Sunday in a conference meet.

In the first round, Brainerd swept league-leading Fergus Falls 5 games to 0. Leading the way was Hannah Larson and Abbi Olson with 100-percent completion rates with Raychel Raddatz following at 88 percent. Brainerd averaged 174 to sweep.

In the second round, Brainerd lost 3-2 to St. Cloud S.W. Abbi Olson had a 75-percent completion rate with Raychel Raddatz and Malyk Edwards following at 67 percent.

In the third round, Brainerd beat Wadena 4-1. Leading the way was Raychel Raddatz with an 84-percent completion rate followed by Hannah Larson with 75 percent and Breanna Field with 70 percent.

Brainerd is in fourth place with a 5-4 record behind St Cloud N.E. with a 6-3 record.  Leading the conference are St Cloud S.W. and Fergus Falls with 7-2 records.

The next conference meet will be at Jacks House in Brainerd Feb. 24.
