PILLAGER — EJ Ziegler’s 16 points and 11 rebounds helped the Pillager Huskies to an 82-67 non-conference victory over the Northland Eagles Saturday.

Aaron Jacobson followed with 15 points for the Huskies and Devin Strack added 14 points and 10 assists.

PELICAN RAPIDS — Jordan Redmond led seven Pequot Lakes Patriots scorers with 26 points in Saturday’s 63-52 Section 8-2A loss to the Pelican Rapids Vikings.

The Patriots have dropped three straight to move to 9-13 overall. They travel to defending section 8-2A champion Perham Tuesday.

It’s the fourth-straight loss for the Gobblers, who fall to 7-13 overall.
