Adapted Floor Hockey: Warriors shutout in North Conference play

The Brainerd Warriors were done in by a hot goalie and a hat trick in a 7-0 North Conference loss to Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound West Wednesday at Riverside Elementary.

Tyler Sarff finished with four goals and Charlie Wittmer stopped 27 shots for RHMW.

“Robbinsdale hasn’t lost a game in over two seasons,” said head coach Tood Person. “We had some opportunities through the first period to score against their senior goalie, Wittmer, but couldn’t get anything past him.

“Brock Saatzer also had a couple of shots that would have beat Charlie but just went wide. The have a deep team and were able to sub throughout the game, which really tired our players out.”

The Warriors Harlee Annable stopped 20 shots and Brainerd remains in second in the North Conference behind RHMW, which improved to 8-0.
