AREA BOYS HOCKEY: Fenske nets two, Flyers advance to final

ST. CLOUD — Spencer Fenske netted two goals to help top-seeded Little Falls past No. 5 Alexandria 3-2 in the semifinals of the Section 6-1A tournament Saturday.

Luke Majerle also scored for the Flyers while Austin Bjorge, Thomas Miller, Matt Stumpf, and Ben Newman each registered assists.

Michael Stumpf kicked away 24 shots for Little Falls.

The Flyers play second-seeded St. Cloud Apollo for the title Thursday. Apollo eliminated No. 3 Fergus Falls 7-3 in the other semifinal.
