AITKIN — Logan Quade went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as Aitkin edged Moose Lake-Willow River 6-4 in Friday’s non-conference season opener.

Jake Lynn picked up the win for the Gobblers.

Pequot Lakes drops two

FOLEY — Austin Mesenbrink went 2-3 with a double, while Gaven Bickford notched a three-run single as Pequot Lakes was swept by Foley in Friday’s non-conference game.

Aspen Florey and Justin Olson smacked the only two hits for the Patriots in a 6-2 Game One loss.

Jordan Redmond picked up two strikeouts and allowed four earned runs off of six hits as Pequot Lakes dropped the second game 4-3.
