Track and Field: Beachy signs with Bison

FARGO, N.D. — Staples-Motley senior Jaelin Beachy was one of seven student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday to continue their educations at North Dakota State University and compete for Bison women’s track and field team.

Beachy is the two-time defending Minnesota Class 1A state champion in the 100-meter hurdles and was runner-up in the 300 hurdles both years.

She qualified for the state meet in the long jump in her freshman and sophomore seasons, as well as taking fourth in the 300 hurdles as a freshman.

Beachy was also a state participant in swimming and is a starter in girls basketball.

The Bison are the six-time defending Summit League indoor and outdoor track and field champions.
